I (Fr Peter) like many other people use a wheel chair for getting around, so I understand first hand how difficult it can be to access buildings and services. But not at St Edward, this Church has been converted for full access by wheelchair users. A level entrance to the main building and a easy ramp to the Church hall at the rear.

All areas in the Church are accessible to a person who can independently power their wheelchair. There will be level access leading to the entrance door and all internal and external level changes can be accessed by easy ramps.
Here At St Edward’s we have installed the “Loop” system around the entire Church, so no matter where you sit you will always be able to hear. If you have a hearing aid with a ‘T’ setting, simply switch it to ‘T’. More than one person can benefit from a loop installed in a room as long as they each have their hearing aids set to ‘T’ or they are using loop listeners. You are not wired to any other equipment so you are free to move around and listen from anywhere within the loop.

At St Edward’s we have disabled Toilets and they are located in the Church Hall and are always open for use before or after mass.
